What a hectic couple of years! Fires, covid, floods, lockdowns, changes, loss, separation, isolation… Most of us have been through challenging times, and it’s not always easy to keep a positive attitude. Imagine the effect of it on young people, suddenly forced to learn, socialise, and do their hobbies through a screen. Still learning who they are and where they stand, and suddenly losing belongings, house, school… key parts of their identity just gone.

One Vision Productions and Flickerfest are coming together to give voice to youth to express themselves in music and on the big screen. How did they feel? What did they learn? Did their vision of the world change? What do they want to say? This opportunity is their stage.

In partnership with Flickerfest, and with the support of the Office For Regional Youth Holiday Break Program and Create NSW, OVP are calling out to 13 to 18 years olds to join in.

During the free 5 day program, participants will be guided through all stages of songwriting, rhyming, lyrics, video concept, storyboarding, choreography and performance toward the production of a group music video.

This week is also about sharing opinions, building bonds, learning about aboriginal culture, discussing the power of mind and how to use it!
