One Vision Productions (OVP) has been honoured at the prestigious 2025 iAwards, receiving the Excellence in Innovation – Not-for-Profit (NSW) Merit Award and being named a National Finalist in the Not-for-Profit category.
Presented by the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), the iAwards celebrate organisations that use technology to drive meaningful social impact. OVP’s recognition highlights its pioneering work in developing MPOWER PRO, a digital platform that blends creativity, culture, and mental health support for young people. Developed by OVP’s founder and Churchill Fellow Mark Robertson, MPOWER PRO transforms a smartphone into a recording studio, wellbeing hub, and cultural resource. The app empowers young people—particularly those in foster care, remote communities, or at risk of incarceration—to express themselves through music, storytelling, and digital creation. “This award is a testament to the power of innovation with purpose,” said Robertson. “MPOWER PRO was built to give young people the tools to heal, create, and thrive—no matter where they live.” As a national finalist, OVP represented New South Wales at the Australian iAwards Finals, networking and showcasing how Indigenous-led innovation can transform youth mental health and social outcomes across the country.
